If you wanted to make your 97 octane into 100, you would have to pour in 3.3 bottles of octane boost to raise one octane for every 5 gallons of 97. That's 10 bottles of octane boost for just 5 gallons of gas to raise 3 octanes, and you would need 20 bottles for 10 gallons. Not worth it, especially when those bottles range from $2- $12 for a bottle. You should look for a station with higher octanes off base.
